Event tip: the workshop “Digital Provenance Research”

On 20^th and 21^st September 2018 the Commission for Provenance Research will be hosting an event with the Institute of History on “digital provenance research”. It is being held to mark the 20^th anniversary of the Washington Principles and the 20^th anniversary of the enactment of the Austrian Art Restitution Act.

Experts from Austria and abroad will speak on subjects such as museum and library databases, digital platforms, digitization of source material, and recording and analyzing indications of provenance.
