Restitution: University of Vienna Signs Agreement with the National Fund

The National Fund has signed an agreement with the University of Vienna on “heirless” looted art. In accordance with this agreement the University of Vienna shall transfer to the National Fund the books and items for which no legal successor could be found in order to subsequently repurchase them. The agreement was signed in the run-up to the conference “Fiduciary acquisition and custody”, which will take place at the University of Vienna from 2 to 4 May 2017.
