On 29 October 1940, the head of the Museum of Military History ('Heeresgeschichliches Museum') took over several orders and honorary badges of foreign origins from the Gestapo. They were successively filed in the museum inventory as inventory numbers 'N.I. 17.057-17.065' on 8 November 1940 and 'N.I. 17.070-17.088' on 20 November 1940.
