Description
Prortrait of a woman, oil on canvas. Wachau patrician, first half of the 18th century (counterpart to ÖMV/46331, evidently the wife of the subject). Lace bonnet, green dress richly embroidered with flowers, narrow waist, below widely spread (crinoline?). Large red silk scarf with a richly embroidered hem. Narrow belt, black choker with crucifix. Closed fan in the left hand. Gold frame.
