Description

Procura stamp made from lime wood; disc with chip carving: in the middle a Helvetia with jagged edges and a bundle of beams at the end of the planks; four large squares are inserted into the corners of the cross that extend beyond it; the two upper squares contain the negative inscription “IC . XC . NI . KA, the lower right square has the monogram of the Virgin Mary, the left one the sign of the saints (nine triangles). On the reverse is a square grip with a small procura stamp IC . XC. NI . KA. Athos? Greece.
