Provenance according to museum / collection
Filiation: Wilhelm Koenig (Lugt number 2653b, bottom right). Acquired from the 'Neue Galerie' (Vita Maria Künstler), Vienna, for 300 Reichsmarks in 1938. On the acquisitions from the collection of Wilhelm König (see also inventory number 29290), the former Vice-president of the 'Neue Wiener Bankgesellschaft' (a Viennese bank), a report for the Commission for Provenance research is available, however no decision has yet been reached by the advisory board (M.G. 17. 10. 2006).
