Annotations
Sixth report on restitution, Vienna, 15 November 2005 (p. 241): 'In its meeting on 19 October 2004, the Viennese Commission on Restitution has unanimously reached the opinion that all the acquisitions from Julius Fargel have been art objects which can be restituted. With regards to his biography, in reply to the argument that he donated objects already in 1939, that is to say, before the Vugesta was founded (1941), it was pointed out that he likely took part in 'wild aryanisations'.'
