Velvet brocade, violet velvet over gold ground, linear garnet tendrils in violet velvet patterns, large horizontally arrayed leaf shields with luxurious wide leaf points in violet velvet and two pile heights with gold crests and blossom designed in linear velvet, the tendrils intricate, tendril pairs with pomegranates, blossom and small crowns, silk and gilded silver, Italy, around 1500
