In its meeting of March 7, 2008 the Advisory Board unanimously reached the following decision: The Advisory Board recommends to the Federal Minister for Education, the Arts and Culture that the mentioned candelabras from the MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art in Vienna be handed over to the legal successors of Erny and Richard Gombrich. The aforementioned art objects are listed in the enclosed file and designated with 'Collection Erny und Richard Gombrich'.The candelabras were handed over to the heirs on February 26, 2009.
