Description
Tabletop precisely rectangular. Rich and fine marquetry, depicting a vase of antique shape with a bunch of flowers, to left and right two crouching satyrs with goat's feet, as well as two large acanthus tendrils; lions below; dragons above as well as birds. Broad rim, with compartments within, shaped like rectangles with circular end. Base of top: Limewood. Marquetry - base: ebony, with inlays in mahogany, maple, nutwood, burr walnut, poplar, and pear wood as well as bone and mother-of-pearl. The marquetry hand-coloured and hand-cut. Table support not extant.
