Description
Reduction compass (proportional divider) comprising two arms, their four ends carved like pointed arrows, each end furnished with an iron tip. The arms are parallel in two wooden blocks with right-angled recesses. The blocks are attached to each other with a screw with a heart shaped nut. Depending on how tight the screw is, the arms can be turned against each other. The surface of the arms is furnished with engraved lines, carved scale pattern and punched ornaments. The surface of the blocks is decorated with engraved lines. The initial "W" is engraved on the outer side of each arm at the end.
