Wooden container, carved from a single block, round with a double-oval opening with a spout on the side, used as a measure for grains, etc. The surface is decorated with hammered round-headed nails and glass beads, geometric patterns; the base contains a rosette in the middle surrounded by punched circular motifs. The procurement of this object in Athens by Director Arthur Haberlandt and its transport was only made possible by the German Embassy in Athens. However, no documentary evidence exists to prove its provenance or any form of payment. Therefore, this object is to be considered looted/expropriated.
