Description
Distaff. Stick and board carved from one piece of wood.The upper profiled quarter of the stick is separated by a dark colored cuff. The board has chip carving on the front: geometric motifs, bands of diamonds, the slightly deeper background designed as a rhomb using diagonal crossing fine lines. On top is an x-shaped bundle made from four leafy vines and above them two offshoots. Lefkada, Greece.
