Description
Wax embossing arranged in a cardboard niche and portraying the Legend of the Veil. On the base is a plaque with the engraving “Leopold the Pious, Margrave in Austria, with his wife Agnes.” Left beside Agnes is the veil, which is being blown away, in the middle at the top a red-white-red shield behind which there is a bouquet of roses (originally falling from Leopold’s hand). Vienna or Lower Austria, 1780?
