Description
Jug, so-called melon jug, low pot-bellied shape with a broad neck, diagonal ribbing, blue faience glaze on the outer surface, light yellow sprue in the interior. Curved tin lid with a knob on top, handle in the form of a shell, tin mount on the base, probably Hutterite work, Austrian.
