Description
Inkwell, produced in moulds. Faience with red clay colours, squareshaped with a flat baseplate, squared corners, protruding base plate and upper plate. A round opening for an inkpot. Eight decorative knobs surround the opening, four of these are missing. On the vertical surfaces there are semi-relief motifs; women’s heads and ornamental arches, green opaque glaze. Upper Austria [?].
