Description
Bonnet made from unbleached, woven cotton with predominantly red, floral colored embroidery on the front and back parts. Silk and cotton yarn, details in yellow-gold, white and blue. Front and back parts connected with delicate, red connecting stitching. Rear part pleated at the top. Back center either a spades symbol or an upside-down heart. Front band bobbin laced, also red and gold. Slovakia. 1850-1914.
