Description
Unbleached, woven cotton bonnet with rosette-shaped embroidery at the front and top. A colorful printed silk band runs down the center of the back part, from the top to the nape of the neck. The silk band is bordered on both sides by a floral embroidered braid. Also on both sides of the silk band there is, instead of the woven base material of the bonnet, a finely woven translucent cotton fabric with monochrome embroidery. Also on both sides of the silk band is a white machine-embroidered border. 1850-1914.
