Description

Small jug on a flat base, indented foot, pot-bellied, slight diagonal ridges, narrow neck and rounded extended edge with small spout. Braided handle split at the end. Pewter lid with handle. White base glazing, brush painting in blue: dotted blossoms, flowers and birds across the entire surface. Faience manufactory from southern Germany, possible Hanau.
