Description
Pewter tankard with lid engraved with a wreath of foliage around the year 1699. At the front a guild mark in a wreath of foliage: horseshoe, wagon wheel, key and pistol (crossed) etc., i.e. signs of a guild association of possibly five guilds. In the middle between the smith's and the wainwright's signs a two-handled vase with a tree of life, on the side the names Girzik, Zehoz, Waclaw, Gau, Sedlacek, Weseleg, Zameruyk, Ryncekg. On the underside of the lid is a pewter mark and a hallmark. Lid with a thumb rest and knob. Robust base.
