Description
Cylindrical glass jug with handle and pewter mount. Walls with decorative engraving, cold painted (jumping deer, two plant shoots, initials “MD”, date “1857”). Footrim and lid made of pewter. Domed lid with profiled knob on top, laurel wreath in relief and the initials “AM”. Two cracks at the base of the handle. Lower Austria, 1857?
